"Disprezzo"
Mauro loved to say “Life is too short to do something you do not like” and he really meant it. No one knows when our day will come, that we cannot control, but we can control what we do ‘till that day, and how we do it. Embracing life with enthusiasm, joy, energy, passion is the only way, anything else is a true waste! We have only one chance in this world, we have to make the most out of it: today, not tomorrow!

Mauro Vidulich, 24, died June 1, 2004 in Prague, Czech Republic. He was taken away from his loving family and friends as the result of being hit by a car while crossing in the pedestrian crosswalk.
He was born March 17, 1980 in Italy, son of Mario and Silvana Vidulich. Mauro’s family moved to Savannah, USA in 1988 from Monfalcone, Italy. Mauro attended St. Andrews School, St. Peter the Apostle Catholic School and Benedictine Military School. After graduation, he briefly attended the University of Georgia and worked with his father in the family business. He then continued his studies at the University of Florence in Italy. Most recently he was in Prague to teach English in a business school while at the same time, was taking classes to improve his qualifications as a teacher. He was an accomplished musician; he played in the local band “Karst”. His band in Florence is scheduled to release their first CD this summer. Mauro involved himself in several of the lives he came in contact with and was not afraid to commit to new creative projects.
He was a communicant of St. Peter the Apostle Church.
Surviving are his parents Mario & Silvana Vidulich of Savannah; sister Monica of Milan, Italy; grandparents and his numerous family.

Mauro's memorial in Savannah has been held on July 1st, 2004 at 6:00 PM. Thanks to all family and friends that joined us for Mauro's farewell
